Patch Updates
What's new in Scorven
Every release, listed newest first — the features we've added and the things we've fixed.
Beta build 34
A new bottom bar — Tournaments front and center — and every member sees the board.
New
- The bottom bar is new: Home · Tournaments · Clubs · Social · Me. Play merged into Home — Start a Round, your recent rounds, and Round History all live there now — and Tournaments earned its own tab.
- The Tournaments tab has two worlds: League (events you and your friends host) and Club — every club tournament you can open, live and upcoming first, past below.
- Club members now see their club's tournaments right on the club screen — and can open any live leaderboard with one tap. No results code needed.
- Entered in a tournament? It says so everywhere: a Your Tournaments card on Home, an ENTERED badge on the lists, and a new entry page with your team, flight, and tee time — plus the live board with your row highlighted.
- When a club enters you into a tournament, you get a notification the moment it happens.
Fixed & improved
- Club tournament results now open right in the app instead of a web page when you're signed in.
Beta build 33
Wolf settles itself — plus fix your card after the round, right on the card.

New
- Wolf rounds now end with a Settlement card: who pays whom, line by line — "Bryan → Tyler $5.00" — at your per-point rate, on the final results and the round's page. Lines are grouped by payer so everyone can read their own tab, and yours are highlighted.
- Fixing a finished round now works like live scoring — tap the hole on the card and the same scoring panel opens. That also means putts, greens, fairways, greenies, and sandies can be corrected after the round, not just scores, and payouts recalculate as you go.
- Greenies and sandies are now available in Low Ball / Best Ball — you're playing your own ball, so closest-to-the-pin and sand saves count.
- Adding a walk-on and other confirmations now use Scorven's own look instead of plain system popups.
Fixed & improved
- Greenies and sandies can no longer be attached to scramble or alternate-shot rounds anywhere — they're own-ball side games, and a shared team ball can't credit one player's shot.
Beta build 32
The scorecard is the score entry — tap a hole, score it right there.
New
- Score straight from the card: tap any hole on the scorecard and a compact panel slides up under it — big − and + controls, and one tap on the dashed number logs par.
- Putts, greens in regulation, fairways, greenies, and sandies live in the same panel — and so do the Wolf call and the Nassau press.
- Next moves with you: after a hole it jumps to your next unscored hole (walk-ons in your care come first), and the card scrolls along with the hole you're scoring highlighted.
- The card stays visible while you score — tap any other cell to switch to it without closing the panel.
Beta build 31
Clubs grow up — join policies, invites, and leaderboards without codes.
New
- Clubs can be open or invite-only. Open clubs take join requests like before; invite-only clubs admit only invited players and say so in the directory.
- Invite players to your club two ways: share an invite link anywhere, or invite straight from a player's profile if you're an admin of the club.
- Got invited? Accept or decline right from your Clubs list or the club's page — invites show who sent them.
- Joining a club automatically makes you a Member, so member features work from day one.
- Club members can open a tournament's live leaderboard without a results code — and so can anyone registered in the tournament with their account. Codes keep working for everyone else until results close.
- Club name popups now match the rest of Scorven instead of a plain system alert.
Fixed & improved
- Leaving or being removed from a club now clears your club roles, so rejoining doesn't quietly restore old permissions.
- Every club now has its standard roles from the start — including clubs created before this build.
Beta build 30
See into your friends' games, real team names, and a smoother round from tee to Done.
New
- Tap a friend's recent match to open the full scorecard — hole by hole, standings, and side games — and tap anyone who played to visit their profile and add them as a friend.
- Team names now show who's actually on the team — "T. Cutshall · Bryan F" instead of "Team 1" — and tapping a team name shows the full lineup.
- The scorecard now says what you're playing — game mode and holes right at the top, and live rounds show your custom round name.
- Verify your email without leaving the app — reminders and anything that needs a verified address now take you straight to a verify screen, and the web page can hand you back to the app.
- Refunded tournament entries now show a "Refunded" tag on the roster.
Fixed & improved
- Finished rounds now end with a proper Done button — no more being stared down by "Leave / Cancel" after the round is over (and the back button works during play again).
- Watching a friend's live round now shows just their scorecard — score-entry screens no longer appear for rounds you aren't playing in, and your own round no longer shows up under "Live Now."
- Scores you just entered (and their putts, GIR, and fairway buttons) no longer blink away for a few seconds after saving.
- Course search got a tune-up: courses your group has played are always right there under "Your Courses," searches are faster, you get a straight answer when the course lookup is busy, and adding a course manually can't dead-end on a blank rating anymore.
Beta build 29
Team management in the lobby and smarter post-round editing.
New
- Assign teams in the lobby — the round creator can now place every player (including friends who join late and walk-ons) onto a team before starting, and everyone can see the team lineup.
- "Card edited" alerts now take you straight to the round — tap the notification or the in-app banner to see exactly what changed.
Fixed & improved
- Two people editing the same finished round at once can no longer overwrite each other — the second save is stopped with a clear message and the card refreshes to the latest version.
- A team round can't start while anyone is missing a team, and a low-ball round can't start with a team smaller than its "N-low" count — with messages that tell you exactly what to fix.
Beta build 28
Round names, match history, score editing, and a big round-lifecycle cleanup.
New
- Name your rounds — give a round a name at setup ("Saturday Skins") and find it fast in your history.
- Recent Matches on profiles — see a friend's last five completed rounds. A new "Show match history on my profile" setting lets you switch yours off.
- Remove a round from your history — long-press any finished round to permanently remove it from your own history and stats. Other players keep their copy.
- Fix a score after the round — completed rounds stay editable for 24 hours. Results and wagers recalculate, the round is marked "Edited after round," and everyone who played gets notified.
- Confirm Hole — a single tap logs the remaining par prefills and jumps you to your next unscored hole.
- One-team scramble — play a scramble with just your own team (solo, or with friends and walk-ons) and track your score without a phantom opponent.
- Hand off a lobby — the person who created a lobby can now leave it without cancelling; hosting passes to the first player who joined.
Fixed & improved
- Score entry is decluttered — you only see the cards you're responsible for: your own, your team's, and walk-ons in your care.
- Reactions from friends watching a live round now actually stick to the hole.
- A round can no longer start with an empty team, and match play needs both players to have joined.
- Finished rounds are locked in — a completed round can't be cancelled out of everyone's history, and side-game tags lock 24 hours after the round like everything else.
- Scrambles and alternate-shot rounds no longer affect your Handicap Index — only formats where you play your own ball count.
Beta build 27
First fixes from beta feedback — round lifecycle and stat integrity.
Fixed & improved
- Solo rounds (or rounds with only walk-ons) now offer Cancel instead of Leave, so a round can't be left stranded with nobody in it.
- Cancelled rounds disappear from the Home tab immediately instead of after a delay.
- Cancelled or abandoned rounds no longer count birdies, eagles, or aces toward your stats — if a round isn't in your history, it isn't in your numbers.
Beta launch
Scorven's private beta opens on TestFlight.
New
- Live scorecards for stroke play, match play, scramble, alternate shot, low ball, and Wolf.
- Side games and wagers — skins, greenies, sandies, Nassau — settled automatically from the card.
- Friends, clubs, tournaments, player profiles with badges, and a live tournament board.
